York Castle Museum

This project was about observing items, buildings, everything that the castle museum contained and producing a set of postcards for them.  These are a few of my images from the project.

I enjoyed sitting down in the museum and just drawing it was nice and calming, and i could really observe what I was drawing.

I like my pen drawings a lot in this project as you can capture every detail sharply.  The postcards that have a colour wash background, I was inspired by looking at Angel D'Amico (inspiration artists) and thought I would try and experiment.  I think it works really well once enhanced on Photoshop too.  I was also experimenting with layering at this point, with drawings and photos to create postcards.
