Waves

This is another project i loved doing; i think the title was natural so i thought of waves.
I went to Scarborough to take photographs of waves, i wanted ones of them clashing, really showing their enormous power.

This is what i wanted to create in my paintings too that is why i decided to up the scale of my work to get the sense of the power of the wave.  The work was done in ink, graphite, acrylic, pastels all layered and i think the end result on the art room wall really works effectively.

Friends and family have liked this image so i have reproduced it twice on canvas.
